Research maps on Pinterest to see other ways of designing them, and create a board for future reference.
Whilst on Pinterest, look for simple illustrations (that might have been created in Illustrator). Consider whether you might be able to make something similar, using the tools and techniques used in this module. If so, take a screen shot to trace over, and give it a try.
Create a map for any of the brands, referring their brand guidelines, and using an appropriate style.
