Using Bridge // Creating selections with Photoshop

Now you’re half way through the course, and possibly appreciating how you might be using multiple programs simultaneously on a project, you’re in a position to appreciate Adobe Bridge. This is designed to be a bridge between the programs. In my view it can make really streamline your working process. You’ll learn about Bridge in this module, then learn about making selections using Adobe Photoshop.

In this lesson you’ll get acquainted with Adobe Bridge. As you’ll discover, it’s designed to make it much easier to find the files you’ll be working on every day.

New shortcuts

  • Spacebar: full screen preview of file

  • Arrow keys: navigate through previews of files

  • Esc: get out of navigation mode

  • Command/Ctrl + 1: give a one star rating

  • Command/Ctrl + 2: give a two star rating

  • Right Click on images: copy to [a particular place]
