In this lesson you’ll learn how to take some of the basic shapes you’ve made and combine them in a couple of different ways. This is a key building block of Illustrator, enabling you to create what might look like very challenging shapes.

X: brings Fill or Stroke to the front
/: applies the “none” swatch to either the Fill or Stroke
alt/opt + drag: duplicate object
